Why does my sprinkler system run when it’s raining?

What is a rain sensor?

A rain sensor is a device that detects when it is raining, hence, preventing your system from running while it rains.

Will my sprinkler system use more water than I’m currently usING?

It’s totally dependent on the number of heads or the size of property and source of the water.

What is a back flow?

 A back flow is a device that creates separation between the water you use for sprinkler and the water going inside your house.

How often should I Check my irrigation system?

For residential systems at least once per month. Commercial system at least twice per month.

Is Your Company Licensed?

Absolutely you must be in possession of an Irrigation Contractors license for installation as well as repairs. Make sure when selecting an irrigation company they are both properly licensed and insured. If a company is caught by code enforcement or a municipal inspector performing on a property without one or both they can be fined as well as the homeowner.
